I am a game designer with 2 years of professional experience in mobile games development. My daily tasks include designing systems, new features and levels, running live operations, free-to-play monetisation and economy balancing. I use Unity3D (C#), Adobe Creative Suite and spreadsheet software (Excel, Google Sheets). My background before design is in brand strategy and project management, fields in which I previously worked for 3 years.
My passion is creating curious playful experiences for the cutting edge technology.
I see games as the most powerful art form, and as products with the highest potential.
I earned my Master of Arts degree in Games Design at UAL: London College of Communication. During my MA studies, I learned by making and particularly enjoyed experimenting with circular layout, tactility and the synergy of sound and movement. I came to value target audience research and profiling, sketching and prototyping.
My Bachelor's Degree is in Business Administration, and worked full-time for 3 years in a large conglomerate in Istanbul. I had the opportunity to initiate and manage my own project within the organisation, which was an adventure arcade mobile game targeted to children. While working on this game project, I realised that I wanted to be a part of the video game industry and contribute by creating innovative and high-quality products.
I was born and raised in Izmir, Turkey. I have lived in the USA, Spain and South America for short periods of my life, and now I am based in London, UK. I speak English, Spanish and Turkish fluently.
